During Mike’s first term in the House, the legislature balanced the budget, created all-day kindergarten, and froze college tuition.  Unfortunately, the legislature was not as productive during his second term, with party leadership in the House unwilling to compromise on key issues.  Yet in spite of these shortcomings, Mike was able to get several laws passed that will help residents and organizations in our district, and he was named a Legislator of Distinction by the League of Minnesota Cities for the fourth year in a row.  Mike hopes to earn your support in the coming months so that he can continue to put his experience to use to help our communities.
